American Costume Studies

		I am one of the many illustrations to be included from Persoz' landmark 4 volumes of samples from 1846. CLICK ME FOR DETAILS! For several years I have been working on accumulating photographs and data in order to publish a comprehensive guide to identifying these often-baffling fabrics. My research concluded with a Winterthur Research Fellowship for 2004-2005. I have signed a contract with Kent State University Press, with 2011 as the estimated year of publication. Current status: nearly finished with the first reworking after review by Nancy Rexford, Martin Bide and Philip Sykas. Thank you for following this progress of this book. It is tedious work which is why it is taking so long.
